ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Kumar, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent, placing on record the proceedings dated 24.09.2019 passed by the Tahsildar, Madurantakam in R.C.5713/2017/B2, would submit that the direction to consider the case of the petitioner has been complied with since the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2012 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ was considered in detail. It was found during the

consideration that as per the survey report of the SubInspector of Survey, Madurantakam, the subject land lies in Ward 'A' Block No.12 of Madurantakam Town in Town Survey No.9 with an extent of 298 sq.mt. and it is classified as 'Koil' according to Town survey records and as per the village 'A' register prior to Town Survey, its old Survey number is 1257/5, 2 part and even in the old village 'A' register, the subject land is classified as 'koil'. He has also drawing the notice of this Court to the copy of 'A' register, substantiated that the land covered in Survey No.1257 is only a temple land.

2.Therefore, finding no merit in the petition, this Court is inclined to dismiss the same. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands dismissed.
