Challenging the notices dated 10.12.2021 issued by the third respondent, calling upon the petitioners to remove the encroachments made by them in the water body inter alia to enable the respondents to commence the construction of bridge connecting G.K.M. Colony and Villivakkam Town, the petitioners have preferred these writ petitions before this Court. 2.Today, when the writ petitions are taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 4, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of these writ petitions, the eviction proceedings have been taken up by the respondents and the encroachments have been removed.
3.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 has concurred with the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 4.
