ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the 2nd Respondent vide Memo No. 13748/ Nirvagam 2(2)/ 2014 dated 14.12.2016 and to direct the 2nd Respondent to revise the seniority list leaving the Mechanical Engineers and promote the petitioners who are Civil Engineers as Assistant Divisional Engineers in accordance with their seniority in the Highways Department.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already joined the post of Assistant Divisional Engineers and therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioners has become infructuous. Consequently, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant Writ Petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
