Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 13.03.2017 and 21.03.2017 of the residents of the Thimampatti, Kanchanpatti and Unnjanvelanpatti villages which includes petitioner to shift the TASMAC shop bearing No.2294 which is proposed to be opened in Sellampalayam - Kanchampatti Road to some other suitable place. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 13.03.2017 and 21.03.2017 seeking for shifting of TASMAC Shop bearing No.2294 which is proposed to be opened in Sellampalayam - Kanchampatti Road, Coimbatore South. 2.Heard Mr.K.Venkatasubban, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned standing counsel for the respondents 3 & 4.

3.Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned standing counsel for the respondents 3 & 4, on instructions would submit that a proposal to open a TASMAC Shop bearing No.2294 Sellampalayam - Kanchampatti Road, Coimbatore South has been dropped. Since the proposal has been dropped, the relief sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous.

4.After recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents 3 & 4, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
