Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the entire records connected with the order of the 2nd respondent herein in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.116/2022 dated 14.09.2022 against my son Vengatesh @ Suruttai Vengatesh, aged 26 years, confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same. Consequently, directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith. For Petitioner :

2. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 25.10.2022 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.7030 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department.

3. In the light of the undisputed position, common submission is made that nothing survives in the captioned habeas corpus petition.
