ORDER
When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their Aadhar Card bearing Nos.4798 6119 1501, 7396 5204 5056, 4266 4517 4425, 4315 6269 9545 and 7006 1911 9689 respectively.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent. 1/4 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending investigation in Crime No.225 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent herein, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the petitioner has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 18.09.2019 stating that the second respondent has no objection if the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent herein is quashed. 4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by the petitioner dated 18.09.2019, the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mappedu Police Station, Tiruvallur District, is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
