O R D E R

This civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.47 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate's Court at Edappadi.

2. When the revision came up for admission, I called for a report from the learned trial Judge on 10.09.2024. The learned trial Judge has sent a report on 12.09.2024 stating that since the amendment was not carried out pursuant to the order passed in I.A.No.1 of 2023, dated 01.04.2024, the matter was suffering adjournments.

3. Mr.T.Balaji representing Ms.B.Rathika states that pending the revision, amendment has been carried out on 04.10.2024 and the matter is now listed on 20.11.2024 for filing of additional statement by the civil revision petitioner. Mr.T.Balaji assures this Court that he will co-operate with the learned trial Judge for disposal and shall file an additional statement on 20.11.2024.

Considering the above submissions and the report filed by the learned trial Judge, the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Edappadi shall dispose of the suit in O.S.No.47 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date on which the additional statement is filed. In case the plaintiff or the defendants seek for unnecessary adjournments, the learned District Munsif shall reject the request and proceed further in the suit.

5. Accordingly, the civil revision petition is ordered. There shall be no order as to costs.
