ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has assailed the validity of the order passed

by the Revenue Divisional Officer rejecting the application for issuance of community certificate.

3. At the outset, learned State counsel would inform that there exists remedy of filing an appeal under G.O.(Ms) No.147, Revenue [RA3(2)], dated 17.3.2016.

4. Keeping all the issues open for consideration, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file appeal before the competent appellate authority within 45 days. The appellate authority shall decide the appeal, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of the appeal. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
