usage in Electricity Connection No.401-013-102 for the property bearing Door No.11, West Club Road, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai 600 030 from Commercial Usage to Domestic Usage.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner requires for change of tariff has been rejected by the 2nd respondent on the ground that the name of the applicant in the application and also in the Aadhar card produced do not match. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the electricity connection was obtained in the name of the partnership firm, which firm has since been dissolved, he seeks name transfer. 4.Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, the learned standing counsel takes notice for the 2/4

respondents and makes a statement on instruction that the petitioner has not produced the copy of the dissolution deed. If the petitioner wants a transfer to be in his name, he may have to give a fresh application and he added that the current consumption charges which was in arrears were also not paid. The statement of the learned counsel is recorded. 5.After hearing both sides, this Court deems it appropriate to set aside the order and remands the matter to the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent is now required to give a right of hearing to the petitioner and may also require him to produce such necessary documents or provide such necessary information, which may facilitate him to process his request for change of tariff. The entire exercise is now required to be concluded within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
