ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed for a direction on respondents 1 to 5 to take action on the representation made by the petitioner on 05.10.2021.

2. An allegation of encroachment of the pond named 'Samiar Pond' in Kudavasal Panchayat Union, Tiruvarur District, by the sixth respondent by filling mud in the pond, has been made by the petitioner.

3. The learned State Government Pleader, on oral instructions, submits that the encroachment has been removed, though he does not have any written instructions for that.

4. In view of the above, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, and if the pond has been closed, as alleged by the petitioner, action would be taken forthwith in accordance with law, if it has not yet been taken. There will be no order as to costs.
