ORDER
The writ petition is filed for the below relief: " directing the 2 nd and 3 rd Respondents to consider and dispose of petitioner representation dated 28.01.2025 and consequently disburse the sum of Rs.99,290/- (Rupees ninety nine Thousand Two Hundred and ninety only) along with 18 percent interest till the date of realization, being the expenditure incurred by the petitioner".
2. The brief facts which are culminated in the filing of this writ petition are set out below:
2.1. It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as an Agricultural Officer by TNPSC in Tiruppur District, subsequently he was transferred to
various districts and finally, he was transferred to Thiruvannamalai District. Being so, when the petitioner was working in the Ooty Livestock farm from 14.06.2022 to 05.02.2025, he was working under the 3rd Respondent. During his tenure in the Office of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner had carried out the repair works in several motor equipment and machines without any advance funds, based on the verbal instructions and permissions of the 3rd respondent. It was customary that the actual expenses incurred would be reimbursed by the competent authority after producing the proof along with vouchers. Accordingly, the petitioner had spent Rs.94,090/- on various dates towards the repair of different motors. The petitioner has made several representations to the respondent Company for the reimbursement of the said expenses. However, the respondent had not considered the said representation for the reimbursement of repair charges incurred by the petitioner. Hence the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned Counsels on either side and perused the records.
4. Taking into account the fact that the petitioner only seeks early disposal of his representation, a mandamus is issued to the 2 nd and 3 rd Respondents to
consider and dispose of petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2025 and to disburse the sum of Rs.99,290/- along with 18 percent interest till the date of realization within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
