Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the first respondent to register the case on the complaint made by the petitioner company's representative on 18.05.2015 and to investigate the same and to file a final report expeditiously within the time as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent Police to register a case on the complaint dated 18.05.2015, given by the petitioner and to investigate the same and file a final report as expeditously.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Police have not received the complaint dated 18.05.2015.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Salem along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 18.05.2015. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
