This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking protection from harassment by the police under the guise of investigating the complaint given by one Ragavendra Ganesh.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that for the loan advanced by the petitioner to Ragavendra Ganesh, the cheque was issued to discharge the debt. However, the said cheque was bounced without funds. Hence, complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act initiated by the petitioner on 26.03.2024. While so, under the protest of complaint, Ragavendra Ganesh through police harassing the petitioner to withdraw the said complaint.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint received by Ragavendra Ganesh dated 28.05.2024 was enquired and closed directing the parties to work out their remedy before the appropriate Court. 2/4
4. In view of the closure of the complaint given by Ragavendra Ganesh, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
