ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to re-investigate the FIR No.311 of 2000 dated 24.02.2000.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is immensely concerned about the welfare of orphan children and the petitioner has come forward with this petition for re-investigation of the FIR in Crime No.311 of 2000 dated 24.02.2000, since the minor girl aged about 13 years has committed suicide in a suspicious circumstances, whereas, enquiry was conducted on the case registered in Crime No.311 of 2000 dated 24.02.2000 and action has been dropped as if she committed suicide.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, it is known that the case in Crime No.311 of 2000 has been registered on 24.02.2000, enquiry has been conducted and it has been dropped, but the reason for the delay of 16 years in filing the petition for re-investigation has not been assigned in this petition.
