ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 14.01.2016 stating that his father did not appear before the National Mega Lok Adalat held on 23.11.2013 to sign the award passed by the National Mega Lok Adalat. But the counsel, who is appearing on behalf of the petitioner's father, by impersonating some other person as if the petitioner's father, got the award before the National Lok Adalat. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent police, but the respondent has not enquired the matter and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. This Court, by order dated 11.04.2016, has called for a report from the Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court, Madras, and the report of the Member Secretary has been received and in the said report, it is stated that as against the award passed in O.S.No.21/2011 dated 23.11.2013, the petitioner has preferred a revision in C.R.P.No.269 of 2016 and the entire papers were submitted to this Court for reference in C.R.P.No.269 of 2016 and since the matter is pending before this Court, the Authority has not proceeded further against the advocate concerned.

4. The Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court, Madras, is directed to take steps to take back the original plaint and also the original copy of the award and verify the same and give a direction to the Chairman of Taluk Legal Services Authority, to initiate proceedings in accordance with law, if any impersonation has been made out.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
