This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the official respondents to act upon the representation given by the petitioner on 28.08.2023 and to provide police protection to the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.T.V.G.Kartheeban, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 8.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a letter given by the petitioner to the Inspector of Police, K-5 Peravallur Police Station, wherein the petitioner has made it clear that it is enough to maintain a patta book regularly to ensure the safety of the petitioner.
4. In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is facing threat from the private respondents when he comes to attend the proceedings before the Family Court at Chennai. If the petitioner is apprehending any threat, it is left open to the petitioner to complain 3/6
