ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The prayer for issuance of direction for expeditious disposal

of the revision petition filed under Section 80-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 [the Act] is misconceived, because the remedy under Section 80-A of the Act lies before the appropriate authority as mentioned in Section 80-A itself, whereas, the petitioner has filed such proceedings before the Corporation authorities, which is per se not maintainable.

3. Therefore, the petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority under Section 80-A of the Act against lock and seal notice. There shall be no order as to costs.
