The petitioners in both the petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 406 of IPC in Cr.No.261 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners in both the petitions approached the defacto complainant and induced him that there was attractive proposal for investment in the school business and assured that there will be good returns. Believing the sugar coated words of the petitioners the defacto complainant investment huge amount. Subsequently the petitioners failed to return the principal amount as well as profit and thereby cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioners.
3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned appearing for the petitioners and the defacto complainant submitted that the matter has been settled and the parties have entered into a joint compromise memo and the same has been produced before this Court. They further
submitted they do not want to pursue the case as the issue has been amicably settled.
4. Recording the submissions made by both the counsels and based on the copy of the Joint compromise memo filed before this Court, this petition is closed.
