ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondent herein settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner herein by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 and 21.07.2025 and pass orders accordingly.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner had retired on superannuation on 31.05.2025. However, his retirement benefit was not settled till now. In this connection, the petitioner has sent representation dated 12.06.2025 and 21.07.2025 to the respondent seeking for terminal benefits. However, there was no response for the same.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. In such view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going into merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation according to its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
