This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiring the complaint given by one Desamuthu.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on receipt of the complaint from one Desamuthu, C.S.R.No.376 of 2024 registered and enquiry is pending. Regarding land leased to the petitioner, there is a dispute between the parties. On completion of investigation, police will proceed in accordance with law and if it is purely civil in nature, the complaint will be closed. 3.

Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to conduct investigation in accordance with law and decide the complaint registered in C.S.R.No.376 of 2024 based on the material placed by the complainant as well as the petitioner. 09.09.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl To 1.The Inspector of Police, 2/4
