Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to pass orders on the letter dated 10.04.2025 bearing No Na K. A1/350/2025 sent by the 1st respondent herein based on our representation dated 8.4/2025.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the properties comprised in Survey No.82/5 and 82/5A being old Survey No.94/2-Ac0.29 Cents, Survey No.97/6-Ac O.19 Cents, Survey No.97/7 Ac O..38 Cents;98/1 and 98/2B-Ac 1.90 cents of Keelputhupattu Village 2/6
belongs to the undivided family of the Petitioners consisting of petitioner's father and their elder brother. Thereafter, the aforesaid properties were partitioned and since the date of partition, the petitioners are in exclusive possession of those properties. Further, he would submit that the petitioners approached the revenue Department for want of revenue records and after verifying the same, they are shocked to find that the name of one Uyaathal was reflected in the UDR Resurvey, of the petitioners land. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.04.2025 to the 1st respondent to rectify the error and remove the name of the said Uyaathal and incorporate the names of the petitioners in the UDR Resurvey. The 1st respondent sent a letter dated 10.04.2025 to the 2nd respondent confirming the entry of Uyaathal in the revenue records. Since no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent till date, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that the 2nd respondents will pass orders on the communication of the 1st respondent 10.04.2025 on merits and in 3/6
accordance with law, within a stipulated period.
5. Heard both sides.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the letter sent by the 1st respondent dated 10.04.2025, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
