Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 11.08.2021 and 17.03.2025 seeking to regularise the post of the petitioner in the post of Disability information officer by applying the guidelines issued under G.O.Ms.No.151 dated 16.10.2008.

5. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 11.08.2021 and 2/5
17.03.2025 seeking to regularise the post of the petitioner in the post of Disability Information Officer by applying the guidelines issued under G.O.Ms.No.151 dated 16.10.2008.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner sent representations on 11.08.2021 and 17.03.2025 seeking regularisation. It is the submission of the petitioner that he possess requisite educational qualification and is also having certificate for completing Junior and Senior Grade Typewriting in English and Tamil. The learned counsel would further submit that the petitioner is now working as Information Officer. By virtue of G.O.Ms.No.151 dated 16.10.2008, G.O.Ms.No.218 dated 28.07.2015 and G.O.Ms.No.61 dated 29.12.2015, the petitioner is entitled for regularisation, however, the petitioner's representations are pending with the respondents.
4.At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation upon its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

5.In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
