This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2023 and pass orders in accordance with law.

2. According to the petitioner, he is holding a Stage Carriage Permit and operating the stage carriage between Attur and Erode. The petitioner submitted a representation on 10.07.2023 to the first respondent stating that some of the bus operators has fitted dazzling lights in the bus causing nuisance to the road users.

3. It is also stated by the petitioner that such fitments would run in contrary to the Rules 106 and 107 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 framed under the Motor Vehicles Act. The main grievance of the petitioner is that his representation has not been considered in accordance with law till date.

4. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the interested parties within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
