This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to de-freeze the savings bank account of the petitioner maintained in the second respondent bank.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 13.09.2023, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to get instructions.

3. Heard Mr.P.Muthamizhselvakumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the first respondent did not give any instructions to the second respondent to freeze the bank account of the petitioner. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the First Information Report is not pending before the first respondent and that the First Information Report in Crime No.112 of 2019 is actually pending before the Anaikaranchatram Police Station, 2/4

Mayiladuthurai.

Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
