The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Section 467, 475 and 420 of the IPC in Crime No.66 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that the defaco complainant is working as Tahsildar and he made a complaint to the respondent police by stating that one Gopal created a fabricated rubber stamp and signed as if Tahsildar signed in the document and attempted to register the document.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. However, on instructions, the learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the defaco complainant is working as Tahsildar. One Gopal created a fabricated rubber stamp and signed as if Tahsildar signed in the document and attempted to register the document and further, considering the gravity of offence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the representations made by both sides and considering the nature of offences charged against the petitioner and considering the fact that investigation is in initial stage, this Court is declined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
