This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.580 of 2021.

The petitioner, who appeared in person has submitted that the accused had damaged his diesel engine installed in his well and because of that he was not able to irrigate his lands and do the agricultural activities; despite the police have registered the F.I.R., investigation has not been expedited and hence, he has filed this petition. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that investigation is almost completed and within a period of one month, final report will be filed. 4.

Taking into consideration of the undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents, the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation within a period of one month and file the final report. 2/4
