This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in W-23, AWPS Crime No.5 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent police.
2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report and the same has been taken on cognizance on record in C.C.No.2246 of 2024 on the file of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.
3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition filed to quash the FIR has become infructuous.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
