The petitioner is the second accused in C.C.No.5634 of 2021, in which, the trial is ongoing before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2.The petitioner did not appear before the learned Magistrate and therefore, Non Bailable Warrant was issued on 21.06.2023 and it had been executed on 24.07.2023.

3.Now alternatively, A1 had absconded from the judicial process and Non Bailable Warrant has been issued against A1. 4.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in yet another case in Crime No.365 of 2023, in which, the petitioner was arrested on 08.07.2023, the bail had been granted by the learned Magistrate.

5.It is seen that both the accused had clear intention that the trial should not progress.

6.In view of that particular fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
