This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings initiated for the offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I. Act in C.C.No. 5368 of 2016 on the file of the Fast Track Court No.III, Saidapet.

2. The learned counsel for the Respondent submitted that the trial has already commenced and the complainant examined its witnesses and the 313 proceeding was also over. Now the matter is posted for Defence Evidence. At this stage, the quash petition cannot be entertained.

3. Further the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within the period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. No costs.
