This application is filed seeking to extend the period for completing the arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award by a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order of this Court.

2. Earlier, this Court, while appointing the arbitrator had given a time frame of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order to complete the arbitral proceedings. Now the six months period is over. Hence, the present application has been filed for extension of time.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

4. With the consent of learned counsel appearing on both sides, time for completion of the arbitration proceedings and to pass an Arbitral Award is extended by six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The parties should endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within a period of six months.
