Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to rectify the patta in Patta No.98, granted to one Pillappaiah @ Venkataramanappa, to reflect the correct extent of 6.18 acres, as per the original sale deed Doc.No.1737 of 1957 and issue a new patta to the legal heirs of Pillappaiah @ Venkataramanappa for an extent of 6.18 Acres of land and issue patta for the remaining extent of 1.78 Acres to the legal heirs of the original owner, namely, Motappa @ Mota Naidu in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.138/4, measuring Hec. 3.22.0 situated in Kodiyalam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner representation dated 22.01.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to rectify the patta in Patta No.98, granted to one Pillappaiah @ Venkataramanappa, to reflect the correct extent of 6.18 acres, as per the original sale deed Doc.No.1737 of 1957 and issue a new patta to the legal heirs of Pillappaiah @ Venkataramanappa for an extent of 6.18 Acres of land and issue patta for the remaining extent of 1.78 Acres to the legal heirs of the original owner, namely, Motappa @ Mota Naidu in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.138/4, measuring

Hec. 3.22.0 situated in Kodiyalam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner representation dated 22.01.2025. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 22.01.2025, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, and after giving them an opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
