O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. .

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to matrimonial dispute, the wife of the petitioner lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there exists matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the de-facto complainant and on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant enquiry is pending in CSR No.557 of 2022.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the second respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner and if any prima facie case is made out against the 2/4

petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from today.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
