It is stated that the petitioner had submitted an application under the Right to Information Act seeking certain information with regard to allotment of Plot No.45, Door No.502, Perumal Kovil Street, Gangai Amman Kovil Street, Poonamallee High Road, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106. The said application was replied to by the 3rd respondent on 17.02.2021 and 27.04.2021. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred a First Appeal, which came to be rejected, vide proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 14.06.2021. Thereafter, the petitioner preferred a Second Appeal before the 1st respondent and the same was also dismissed vide order of the 1st respondent dated 01.10.2021, which is impugned herein. Challenging the said order of the 1st 2/5
respondent dated 01.10.2021, this writ petition has been filed.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in respect of allotment of the subject plot, the petitioner submitted an application before the 3rd respondent. But without considering the request of the petitioner, the original authority viz., 3rd respondent as well as the appellate authorities viz., 2nd and 1st respondents rejected to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner. Therefore, he prayed for quashment of the said proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 01.10.2021 as well as sought for issuance of directions to the respondents to furnish the said information.

Today, the learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that the 4th respondent has furnished the sale deed under which he had purchased the property from the petitioner's grandmother. In view of the subsequent development, the grievance of the petitioner regarding non-furnishing of information no longer survives.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the 4th 3/5
respondent, this writ petition stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the jurisdictional civil court or any other forum in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
