Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide police protection for fencing the petitioner's land in Patta No.9964/C, Town Survey No.97/3, Ward.C, Block No.8, Paimash No.122 and 122 A situate at Agraharam Village, Kumarapalayam, Thiruchengodu Taluk, Namakkal District, measuring to an extent of 2145 sq.meters or about 0.53 cents based on the complaints dated 14.09.2022 and 07.10.2022.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection for fencing the petitioner's land in Patta No.9964/C, Town Survey No.97/3, Ward.C, Block No.8, Paimash No.122 and 122 A situate at Agraharam Village, Kumarapalayam, Thiruchengodu Taluk, Namakkal District, measuring to an extent of 2145 sq.meters or about 0.53 cents based on the complaints dated 14.09.2022 and 07.10.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner gave a separate complaint to the respondents 1 and 2 with regard to give police protection to the petitioner for fencing his land in Patta No.9964/C, Town Survey No.97/3, Ward.C, Block No.8, Paimash No.122 and 122 A, situated at Agraharam Village, Kumarapalayam, Thiruchengodu Taluk, Namakkal District, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the complaints of the petitioner dated 14.09.2022 and 07.10.2022 is available with the second respondent and they are ready to consider the petitioner's complaint.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the complaints of the petitioner dated 14.09.2022 and 07.10.2022 on merits and take suitable action in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
