ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to secure the body of the petitioner's minor daughter namely V.Pooja, aged 17 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
years before this Court from the illegal custody of the third respondent and hand over the custody of the detenue to the petitioner, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. 2.The petitioner is the mother of the detenue, who is a minor. Pursuant to the case registered in Crime No.464 of 2019 for girl missing, investigation was taken up. The status report filed by the second respondent would show that the detenue eloped with the third respondent, who hails from Nepal. Accordingly, the Section has been altered into 366A IPC against the third respondent and investigation is still on. 3.In such view of the matter, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and the habeas corpus petition is closed. However, the second respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and make all endeavour to secure the detenue and as and when the detenue is secured, she should be produced before the jurisdiction Magistrate.
