ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to call for the records relating in Cr.No.425 of 2017 dated 07.09.2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Varanjaram Police Station, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District and quash the same.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has submitted that the third respondent completed the investigation and filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate Kallakurichi as early as on 10.11.2017 itself. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kallakurichi, is directed to complete the committal proceedings within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
