The petitioner has filed this petition, to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Kancheepuram to conduct the speedy trial and dispose the original suit in O.S.No.238 of 2012 within a time frame. 1\4

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even in 2019 itself both the parties appeared and issues were framed and the matter was posted for cross examination of P.W.2 on 04.02.2020. After the death of 2nd plaintiff, his legal heirs were also impleaded and thereafter no progress is made in the trial. As per the E-Court status, the trial had begun in the year 2020.

3. Hence, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the case on merits, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
