ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 31.12.2015.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Viswanathan on the allegation of misappropriation of funds in the Tamilnadu Football Association. Though the said complaint was lodged on 31.12.205, no action has been taken on the said complaint so far. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that a detailed enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner, and the said complaint was closed. He has also produced a copy of the closure report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner was closed, nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, the petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
