Respondent Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 27.05.2024 made by the petitioner for delete the petitioner's name in the list of History/Rowdies Sheet maintain in the respondent police station and decide the same in accordance with law within a reasonable time as may be fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The name of the petitioner herein is included in the register of history sheeter by the respondent police and it is in force till 31.12.2024. The petitioner has given a representation stating that the case against him for the offence under Section 302 of IPC has ended in acquittal and therefore, he has given a representation to delete his name from the register of history sheeter, but the same has not been considered. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered as per PSO 748 and 749 and if the petitioner is found to be delisted from the history sheeter, the order will not be extended after expiry of the period.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
