The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the second respondent police viz.,, the Inspector of Police, Thirumullaivoyal Police Station, Chennai to register the case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 08.02.2016 which was acknowledged by the 1st respondent herein i.e., the Commissioner of Police in C.No.562/COP/Visitors/2016 dated 11.02.2016 in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the first respondent police as early as on 08.02.2016, and the same was forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ambattur for enquiry, but, however, the respondent police had not taken any steps to enquire the matter and register a case and hence, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed on 18.02.2016 on the basis of the statement made by the petitioner and he has also produced the closure report for perusal of this Court.

4. On a perusal of the Closure Report, it is seen that on 18.02.2016, the petitioner appeared before the respondent police for enquiry and stated that she will resolve the matter into the Court and therefore, the respondent police closed the petitioner's complaint.

5.
