The petitioner herein, alleging that the respondent police has not acted upon the direction given by the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore to register the complaint and enquire, is before this Court seeking direction to comply the order of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore and file report. 1/4

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State took notice and on instructions submitted that the report has been filed before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore on 22.09.2023. Having found that the content in the complaint are not true, they have closed the investigation.

In view of the findings of the report before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on 22.09.2023, nothing survives in this petition. The petitioner is directed to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
