ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 417, 376 of IPC, in Crime No.16 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant was live in relationship for the past 8 years and based on a false promise made by the petitioner that he would marry her, both of them lived as husband and wife and thereafter, the petitioner had refused to marry the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner had lived along with the defacto complainant as husband and wife and thereafter, the petitioner had refused to marry the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending and if the petitioner is released on bail he may tamper the evidence. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the investigation is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
