JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R. MAHADEVAN, J.) This Writ Appeal arises from the order dated 24.07.2023 passed by the learned Judge in W.P.No.18636 of 2023.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ appeal, with liberty to the appellant to approach the authorities to file a mercy petition citing health condition. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.

3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the appellant, liberty is granted and this writ appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
