This application is filed seeking to condone the delay of 193 days in filing the written statement of the applicant/defendant in the above suit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant/defendant and the learned counsel for the respondent/plaintiff.

Upon hearing the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application, the delay in filing the written statement is condoned and the written statement is taken on file.
