Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 18.08.2022 by granting increment, arrears of pay, subsistence allowance during the suspension period, MACP, promotion and all other service benefits.

ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Ms. Djearancy, learned Government Advocate (Pondy) accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 18.08.2002 seeking for grant of increments, arrears of pay, subsistence allowance during the suspension period, MACP, promotion and all other service benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The petitioner claims that earlier he was suspended from service which was subsequently revoked and he has joined duty thereafter. However, according to the petitioner, during the period of his suspension, he has not been paid the subsistence allowance. The petitioner also alleges that increments, arrears of pay and all other service benefits are payable by the respondents. He has given a representation on 18.08.2022 for the aforementioned purposes. Since the representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.
5. Heard Ms.Revathi Sreedhar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.Djearancy, learned Government Advocate (Pondy) appearing for the respondents.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, referred to supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 18.08.2022 seeking for grant of increments, arrears of pay, subsistence allowance 3/5
during the suspension period, MACP, promotion and all other service benefits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
