This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the II Fast Track Court, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai to expedite the investigation in C.C.No.6716 of 2016, within a stipulated time.

2. Though notice has been served on the respondent and her name printed in the cause list, none appeared on her behalf.

3. Taking into consideration that the petitioner's complaint is pending from the year 2016 onwards and the complaint is also ripe for trial, the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, II Fast Track Court, Allikulam, Chennai shall endeavour to complete the investigation in C.C.No.6716 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
