Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to Forbearing the 2nd and 3rd Respondents from conducting Election to new Management Committee of Indian Red Cross Society Vellore District Branch in Annual General Body Meeting in pursuant to Notice in Na. Ka. C1/ 11404 / 2020 dated 30.11.2021 issued by the 2nd respondent without allowing 235 Life Members including the petitioner to participate in the election for Management committee. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the 2nd and 3rd Respondents from conducting Election to new Management Committee of Indian Red Cross Society Vellore District Branch.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the respondents has withdrawn the election notification, which is impugned in this Writ Petition. Hence this Court may close this writ petition.
3. In the light of the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed as there is nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
