ORDER

The Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Salem by letter dated 21.04.2026 had sought for extension of time to dispose of the C.P.No.73 of 2017 which was remitted back to the concerned Presiding Officer by this Court vide order dated 29.05.2025 in W.P.No.28211 of 2021.

2. This Court while remitting the matter to the Presiding Officer, further directed the Presiding Officer to expedite the adjudication of the dispute at the earliest possible preferably within a period of six(6) months.

3. The Presiding Officer by letter dated 21.04.2026 stated that the above said order copy received by the Labour Court on 29.10.2025 and it is for the said reason, there has been delay in the progress of the case.

4. By stating as above, the learned Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, sought for three (3) months extension of time to dispose of the C.P.No.73 of 2017.

5. Considering the request made by the Presiding Officer for granting three(3) more months, this Court is of the view that the said request made by the Presiding Officer can be acceded to.

6. Accordingly, the Presiding Officer is granted further period of three(3) months time from today i.e.., 29.04.2026 to adjudicate and dispose of the C.P.No.73 of 2017.
