Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayed this Hon'ble Court to issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS calling for the Records relating to the suspension order passed against the petitioner dated 10.05.2002 and quash the same and direct the respondents one and two and four to pay compensation both actual and punitive to the tune of 15 lakhs with interest.

The prayer sought for herein is a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records to quash the order of suspension made against the petitioner by an order dated 10.05.2002.

2. When the case is called today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's suspension was subsequently revoked and the petitioner was permitted to retire from service on his superannuation i.e., on 31.03.2005 as he was acquitted in the criminal case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has also produced a letter written by the petitioner that he has been retired from service and all the retiral benefits had also been disbursed by the respondents and therefore nothing survives in the writ petition.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents as well as the content available in the proceedings dated 16.10.2014 issued by the second respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as nothing survives, as of now, to adjudicate. No costs.
