Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent police to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.07.2015 under appropriate provisions of law. O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent police to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.07.2015.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent as early as on 07.07.2015, however, the respondent has not shown any interest to enquire the matter and to register an FIR. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.18 of 2015 on the file of the respondent Police for offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC has been registered and it was closed as mistake of fact. He further submitted that on 27.11.2015, Refer Charge Sheet No.5 of 2015 has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ponneri. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dispose of.
